How to set your profile photo

The profile photo identifies you in Rabbiit’s lists. Without it, the screen shows name initials. With it, the team spots the person at a glance — on the Timesheet, in weekly approval, on the activity card, in comments, on teams, and in reports — without reading name by name. That matters even more when similar names share the same account.

Any user sets their own photo in Profile and preferences. Whoever has permission to edit users can also set a collaborator’s photo in Users.

💡 The file must be PNG or JPEG, up to 2 MB. If the format or size does not match, the screen warns you and the photo does not upload.

How to set your photo

  1. Open the profile menu (top-right corner).
  2. Go to Profile and preferences.
  3. Next to your name, click Change profile photo.
  4. In the Profile photo modal, click Browse image…, pick the file, and click Save photo.

To take the photo down, open the same modal and use Remove photo. Confirm when the screen asks.

The password lives on the same screen — the path is in recover and change my password.

Where the photo appears

After you save it, the photo replaces the initials in these places, among others:

The benefit is readability: the list is easier to scan with your eyes. Who logged hours, who commented, and who needs to approve is recognizable at first glance.

How a manager sets a collaborator’s photo

Whoever has permission to edit users uploads the photo on that person’s record. A regular member does not open Users — their path is the section above.

  1. Open the Users menu.
  2. Open the person’s record. The photo action is only available for someone who already exists on the account; a new invite header does not offer it yet.
  3. In the header, click the photo — or open the header menu and choose Change profile photo.
  4. Use the same modal: Browse image… and Save photo. Remove photo takes the current image down.

The modal is the same as on the profile screen: PNG or JPEG, up to 2 MB.

If the record will not let you click the photo, your user does not have permission to edit that person. Whoever administers the account unlocks that — the summary is in user permissions. The invite itself is in how to add users.
